liposuction..the most common type of surgery today

liposuction is the most common type o plastic surgery these days.It is estimated that nearly half a million people seek liposuction tratments annually to improve the way the look by seeking medical procedures's help to reduce excess body fat.

Unfortunately there's some risk inherent in the procedure that anyone considering liposuction should be aware of.The risks deal with problems related to skin, like dangerous skin infections, problems inside the body and even death.

There are a whole lot of other healthier ways to loose weight, ranging from protein diets to just plain exercise and one can easily avoid getting involved in risking ones health or permanently damaging the way you look.Considering all this do you really think that people should opt for liposuction? i just think its a way around the problem not a real solution to it.

Reconstructive plastic surgery

Plastic surgery can be used as a successful tool for reconstruction of any defected or injured part of the body.Following are the some cases:
Birth defects or congenital deformities, such as birthmarks, cleft lips, cleft palates, hand and foot deformities, and even abnormal breast development, affect tens of thousands of children each year.Plastic surgeons help heal these children, enabling them to live lives free of ridicule and shame because of their physical differences .Reconstruction of a breast lost to cancer or other disease offers women a renewed outlook on life and a chance to rebuild their ravaged bodies. When patients have been burned due to heat, cold, radiation, electric current, or chemicals, plastic surgeons step in to repair the affected and disfigured areas to restore functionality and help patients achieve a more normal appearance.Facial trauma can be one of the most debilitating of all injuries. Through facial reconstruction, plastic surgeons help patients who have endured dog and other animal bites (pictured above), lacerations, burns, and other trauma take crucial steps toward returning to normal lives.

How far are you willing to go..??

Human beings have gone to great lengths to make themselves attractive to members of the opposite sex for thousands of years. Tribes in Africa have extended their ear lobes, or elongated their necks. Women in China used to bind their feet crippling themselves in the process to appear beautiful. Western women poured themselves into corsets, often causing damage to their internal organs, for the sake of beauty. High heels are linked to back problems as well as foot problems. Yet the search for beauty and eternal youth continues, and today, modern technology has brought the medical profession into the issue. Fat can be literally sucked out of the body, body parts can be reduced or enlarged through surgery, and wrinkles can be erased.

Where cosmetic surgery was once the near-exclusive purview of women, men are turning to surgical procedures in increasing numbers. It is now fashionable to be young, healthy and attractive. Society seems to have become obsessed with the fear of getting old. For many, the phrase “grow old nice” would probably mean plastic surgery procedures to conceal the signs of aging. The message of almost every advertisement promoting beauty and body-care products is the claim of a beautiful woman that she is “worth it” and that it is the reason why everyone admires her. In a society where social success, in many cases, is decided by external attractiveness, it is difficult to resist those accepted and deeply rooted views

celebrity plastic surgery justified?

Bad plastic surgery happens when someone feels pressure to look good and they have more money than brains. Which pretty much describes the majority of celebrities out there.

Some of the following don’t quite look like human beings anymore, which would be tragic (this is voluntary! they didn’t have to look like this) if it weren’t so stupid. Most of these people were genetically blessed to begin with, which makes you wonder why they would risk their good looks just to hold off from aging a tiny bit longer. And many of the younger celebs on this list have absolutely no excuse at all, as good diet, exercise, and a healthy lifestyle would have fixed most of any flaws they felt they had.

why is plastic surgery becoming so common?

being teased about the way you look may end you up in a cosmetic surgeon's room.People mostly go for plastic surgery in response to appearance based rejection.Research has proven that men and women who feel sensitive to appearance based rejection are more likely to end up in a cosmetic surgeons room than those who are less sensitive to appearance. This effect is particularly true when people recall negative comments regarding their appearance.

in my opinion, just because people aren't excepting you for the way you look, doesn't mean you start hating yourself and opt for drastic measures that permanently change the way you look.

instead you should work more towards your confidence, and forget what other people are saying about you. if someone's with you because of the way you look and not because of who you are than that person surely can't be worth the company right?
